COVID-19 UPDATE
On June 1st we will reopen to our new normal.
We are taking extra precautions to ensure that you sweat and stretch in the safest way possible. We have plenty of soap and hand-sanitizer on hand and we are taking extra measures to ensure that all high-touch areas are disinfected before each class. We want to approach the practice in a responsible post COVID-19 way and hope you can do your part by washing your hands for twenty seconds and staying 6 feet apart while at Sweaty Buddha.
The good news is that our studio has a particular advantage when it comes to dealing with the pandemic. We are currently the only facility that is equipped with an Energy Recovery Ventilator. Our ERV provides constant fresh air during class while exhausting stale air. We are also lucky enough to have a door that opens directly to the outside. This door is propped open during class so please take that into account when choosing a spot to practice in the room. And don’t worry, heat freaks, the hot side of the room does not disappoint!
There are also some operational changes that you need to be aware of. These changes have been implemented for your safety; we want everyone to enjoy themselves with minimum risk to their health.
BOOKING A CLASS
We have reduced our capacity to 15 students per class. We will be forced to turn students away if we hit that capacity. The only way to guarantee yourself a spot is to reserve online.
If you are having problems please contact us via phone or email and we will help you out.
NEW LATE CANCELLATION POLICY
You will be able to cancel your reservation from your account up to 2 hours before class begins without penalty. If you do not cancel in the time allotted you will be charged a $10 late fee if the class is at capacity. Please be mindful. When you are absent and do not cancel your reservation you are also preventing someone else from practicing.
SCHEDULE CHANGES
There will be small changes to the schedule to allow a minimum of 1 hour between classes. This will eliminate overlap and give us time to clean and disinfect.
BEFORE YOU ENTER THE STUDIO
If you have a temperature, are coughing or sneezing or if anyone in your household has been sick in the last 14 days please stay at home.
We ask you to lock your personal items in the trunk of your car and bring in only what you need for class. The doors will open 10 minutes prior to class start.
Waiting in front of the entrance is not permitted; please wait in your car until the teacher props the door open.
INSIDE OUR FACILITY
When you enter Sweaty Buddha your temperature will be taken by the teacher via a non-contact thermometer. If you have a temp over 100.4 degrees or are displaying any other symptoms you will be asked to leave and you will be charged a late cancellation fee. Make sure you take your allergy medications. We would hate to have you miss out because of pollen.
You are welcome to where a mask while at the facility and during class but it is not required.
Mat rentals will not be available. Please bring a mat, a large towel and a bottle of water with you.
The floor is marked to indicate where to place your mat. It is important that you utilize these designated spots to ensure proper social distancing.
Certain doors are propped open before, during and after class. Please, leave the doors to the teachers.
Showers are closed until further notice. We are doing this to limit the amount of time you spend in the studio and limit the number of high-touch points at the facility.
AFTER CLASS
Please exit the studio quickly so the teacher can lock the door and disinfect the facility before the next class begins.
Everyone is required to take their mats home to clean, disinfect and store during the pandemic. Please make sure you clean your mat at home every time you take class. Mat cleaner will not be made available to students at this time. Premium members will still be able to leave their yogitoes at the studio to be laundered if they feel comfortable doing so.
With these new standards in place, we feel confident that our studio will be able to provide a safe environment for your Bikram yoga practice. We want to thank you for your continued support while we move into this new era. We will get through this. We will get through this together!
